Gumberg Library Summer Building Projects

The Simon Silverman Phenomenology Center on the first floor of the Gumberg Library will be closed for renovations. There will be no retrieval of Silverman collection materials during the closure.

The entire first floor will be closed and used as a staging area and temporary storage for items moved during the renovation. For materials (not in the Silverman collection) with a first floor location please check with the Circulation Desk on the 4th floor for possible retrieval.

We appreciate your patience during these projects and apologize for any inconvenience.

Summertime Reading and Movies

Stop by the Gumberg Library and pick up a bestseller or DVD. Current fiction and nonfiction books are located in the Popular Reading area on the 4th floor of the library. The DVD collection is on the 5th floor and is a browsing collection.

The Popular Reading books can be checked out for 28 days with one renewal. The DVDs circulate for one week with one renewal.

If you would like to recommend a book title or DVD fill out a Tell Us card and drop it into a suggestion box at either location.

Alumni Wine Tasting Event, Thursday May 19

Gumberg Library will host an alumni wine tasting event on Thursday, May 19 at 7 p.m. on the fourth floor. The library will be open during this event. Service desks and printers will be accessible. Access to the 408 classroom will be through the front door only.
