Gumberg for Graduates, September 8 & 9

Graduate students are invited to learn what services and resources your library has to offer. Attend one of these 30-minute orientation sessions:

Wed. Sept. 9 @ 12:30-1:00 p.m.
Gumberg for Graduate Students sessions will be held in the Graduate Study Room, 2nd floor, Gumberg Library.

New e-Books Added to FORENSICnetBASE

The following new electronic books have been added to FORENSICnetBASE, which is available from Gumberg Library’s databases page (http://www.duq.edu/library/find/findDatabasesAlphabetical.shtml).

FORENSICnetBASE is a collection of nearly 300 searchable books covering forensic science, crime investigation, law enforcement, and more. You can also access individual book titles by searching the library’s catalog, DuCat (http://ducat.library.duq.edu).

Move-in Day Alert

Move-in will occur on Tuesday, August 18, 2009 from 12:00noon to 11:00pm.
A move-in route will be established with one-way traffic on Bluff Street, McAnulty Drive, Locust Street (Gumberg Library location), Seitz Street and Vickroy Street.Vehicles parked on the move-in route during move-in will be towed.

McAnulty Graduate Student Orientation, August 21

The library will be hosting a special orientation session for all new graduate students from the McAnulty College and Graduate School of Liberal Arts. The 4th floor Reference study area and Room 408 will be reserved from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. to accommodate the large number of graduate students participating in the orientation.
