Gumberg Library’s subscription to RefWorks will end June 30, 2014. RefWorks will continue to be available for use until June 30. At that time, users will need to select an alternative software (or purchase an individual subscription to RefWorks). There are many citation managers available, either free or for a fee, each with its own strengths. This presentation will address four of the most widely used citation managers and help you decide which would best meet your needs. This is not a hands-on training session, but will review the basic features of Zotero, Mendeley, EndNote, and RefWorks, and the audience for each. Both Zotero and Mendeley are available at no cost. Individual and departmental EndNote licenses may be purchased through Duquesne’s computer store. The library has requested funding for a campus site license for EndNote. RefWorks may continue to be used, but with fewer features, as an individual subscription.
