From 8 p.m. till closing, Monday-Thursday July 19-30, library users will be required to swipe their Duquesne ID cards at the front door to enter the building. A phone number to call to report problems will be posted at the card swipe. Immediate staff assistance will be available.
Card swipe access is intended to increase security for library users and staff during non-peak hours. The library is considering implementing card swipe access for late night hours during the academic year. The trial will allow us to discover any potential problems with the system and to survey customer response.

Google Scholar Service Interruption
Google Scholar is currently experiencing problems working with the “Find It” system, which enables you to connect to Gumberg’s electronic journals. Please contact the Reference Desk if you questions about how to access electronic journals until this issue is resolved.
